About us
Who we are & what we do
Restore Décor is a 100% volunteer organization. It was born out of a desire to rescue and transform the unlovable, the need to connect people in our community, and a passion to help those in need. Every week, volunteers spend countless hours accepting donations, moving furniture, repairing and painting furniture, shopping for the perfect accessories, staging our shops, and serving customers on Saturdays. It is truly a labor of LOVE!
Our Mission
Restore Décor’s mission is to foster meaningful relationships and to inspire the spirit of charitable giving throughout the St. Louis Metro East region by recycling, restoring, and reselling furniture. The proceeds from these activities help the poor and under-served population in the region and the exempt organizations serving those same individuals.

Our History
Restore Décor was started in 2013 as the fundraising arm of Faith Coalition-Edwardsville. Specifically, Restore Décor was started to fund a house remodel project at 922 Grand Ave in Edwardsville, IL. Once the house remodel was completed, Restore Decor became its own 501(c)3 nonprofit and expanded its scope to raise money to help families in need and other nonprofits directly serving those in need in our community.
Since then, Restore Décor has raised and given away hundreds of thousands of dollars to local nonprofits and families in need. By selling re-purposed/repainted furniture, we have appealed to shoppers, crafters, and recyclers alike. Our message is one of rebirth and beauty. We are keeping things out of the landfill, bringing volunteers together and helping those in need.
Restore Décor is committed to making a difference in our community – one piece of furniture at a time!
